Hello everyone:
We’ve been talking about men and women and stereotypes in general. On this occasion, first, I’d like us to talk about personality. Please open wordreference.com to look for any vocabulary and visit:
http://www.youniverse.com/quiz/advanced_personality
Read the feedback carefully and MAKE SURE you write down (on your notebook)all the points you agree and disagree with.
Once you get your feedback, please make sure to go to the homepage and choose one of the topics (on the tabs) to take a second quiz on any of the topics (love, art, movies, etc.)
Later, I’d like you to visit www.santiagotimes.cl and choose a piece of news there. Take notes of What happened/ When/ Who was involved/ Why is it relevant to you.
Choose a different or the same newspaper in English and a different piece. Take notes as well.
Thank you.

MARKED TASK
Dear all
Yesterday we finished the film "Billy Elliot". This film was set in 1984 in Durham, North of England. As you noticed, Billy came from a working class family. And like most working class people, his family struggled to get by. However, you saw that there was a strike as well.
Your task for today is to do some reasearch on the financial and political changes in Britain during Thatcher's (The iron lady)administration. How did her government's policies affected the people?
Please write a reflexion of 200 (min) and send it to uahlanguage1@gmail.com during this class. Thank you.
